time by the fire

as i am sitting here typing, my feet are being toasted by the warm fire. i am very thankful to have central heat and air, and gas logs, on days like today, it really makes you wonder just how people make it in the cold, with no heat. it has been a very chilly day here. the wind has been blowing like crazy!!!

today,i spent the morning just doing laundry, and going through some of my winter things, trying to get everything washed and changing the sheets... this afternoon, chris and i met for lunch. we had a nice time. this afternoon, we babysat drake, our nephew. we took him to mcdonald's. he wanted chicken nuggets. while we were there, he told us that ronald mcdonald came to his school today, and did a show. he was so funny telling us about it... hope ya have a great night and stay warm!!!
