CONGRATS, JOHNATHAN AND JENNIFER

whew!!!! that is the sigh of relief i feel this morning... the wedding, is finally over... it was such an honor to be the wedding director, and it really meant a lot..... the wedding turned out just perfect!! i feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders!!!
johnathan and jennifer were so happy and she was very beautiful!!!!! i have tons of pics but i do not have enough time to post them all now, maybe one day next week.. anyway,here they are as he carries her to his car, through all of the bubbles!!!

weird weather

hello, and good morning.. we have had some beautiful,wierd, fall like weather these past few days... chris and i have both been off for the past two together. we needed that time.. wednesday, it was a sunny, beautiful, fall morning. i went out after eating biscuits with pear preserves,lol,... and sat on the front porch with my coffee.. it was awesome... just a beautiful day... we went to the gym and worked out... and then stopped for a nice supper before church..
yesterday. it was a lot cooler, with huge, wind gusts.. i kept hearing it all during the night.. we went to the gym, and stopped for a few things at the grocery store. since it was so cool, we both decided to make homemade vegetable soup for supper... and it was so good.. i guess, because we had not had it in a while. i went to the church yesterday to help jennifer, it is starting to look really pretty.... she is starting to get really nervous.... i know the wedding will be beautiful..

last night, we had 2 of our favorite shows back on .. survivor, it lasted 2 hours last night!!! and the season's premiere of my most fav show, you guessed it, ER...
DR. PRATT died last night. i was in tears...chris just laid there and laughed his head off!!!! ugh!!! lol... and today i wake up, and it is POURING the rain... that can only mean one thing this time of the year.... the FAIR is in town!!!!! can't wait... mmmm... vinegar fries and funnel cakes... candy apples!!!! yum!!! have a great day!!

another wedding weekend

Danielle and Reuben

saturday night, i attended the wedding of a friend from work. her name is danielle. she is a real sweet girl and friend. her wedding was held at the Carolina Country Club. it was the prettiest wedding i have ever been to that was outside. it was gorgeous!!!! the food was great. we had all kinds of nice food and the cake was great also. the ceremony was so pretty, and simple. she had a harpist, and the music was awesome. i went with my friend april, and missy and annette from work. we met up with the rest of some of our coworkers at the wedding. danielle has a little girl, during the ceremony, reuban presented her with a necklace with a heart shaped charm on it. it had her name and the wedding date on it. it was so special. the moon was beautiful tonight. i created this slideshow of this special time. hope you enjoy, and have a great evening.

shower for baby avery

last night, i attended a shower for my best friend,leah.she is in town this week from charleston. her aunts and great aunts along with some other family wanted to get together and have a little something for her while she was here.we had such a great time. we met at a neighboring seafood restaurant. the top photo is leah's sister, christy, along with leah's daughter, emaline. she was just busy playing and talking with aunt christy. leah and baby avery got lots of nice things like $$$$$ and diapers, wipes,$$$$, and bodysuits, and a beautiful crochet baby blanket.

wow,what a week

hello to all... i hope you are having a great week. i am SO TIRED!!! i have worked all weekend plus monday and today... i am totally pooped!!!!! this is going to be a great week, i am sure.. i am now off for the next 8 days!!!! so, now i am ready for some rest... BUT i am not too sure just how much rest i will be getting. my best bud is in town, and some of her family is having a little get together this thursday, so i will be going to that... then. another friend, is getting married this weekend.. she is going to be getting married on saturday. we will be going to that, THEN on monday and tuesday, we will be having revival... so, now you can tell how it is in our neck of the woods... i hope you have a great night.

burger basket,yummers

i woke this am around 1030.. to the smell of wonderful apple butter.... again!!!!!! i know, yall are probably getting tired of hearing about it... but i am very glad our apple trees have produced well this year.. we have been able to make a lot of apple butter and apple jelly. it has been great.



chris called and asked me to meet him for lunch... there is this little general store near where he works sometime. they make delicious burger baskets... i had one with chili and all the fixings.. oh my, i was in burger heaven,lol,lol... he had a chicken sandwich. we both enjoyed our meal and our time together.



he came home this afternoon and we went to run a few errands, and for a nice , quiet, dinner. on the way home, the LORD graced us with this beautiful sunset above our home... for some reason i am not able to post this pic right now... but i will asap.
