rain, rain, go away

no, really, i am very thankful for the rain... it is making my yard really green!!!! BUT, i do wish it would not rain all weekend!!!!! i know i have not been very good at blogging lately.. sorry... last week was extremely busy with church.. we had revival with bro. joe arthur. it was great..

this week has been busy also with work and such. and the normal routine around the house.. i am looking at a mountain of laundry right now that needs folding.. and i will be going downstairs to get some more out of the dryer.. shortly:(.....
chris and i enjoyed some much needed time together today.. we visited a nearby store that was holding it's grand opening today... it was very busy... we headed to lunch and to get dunkin doughnuts before heading home... we look forward to spending the day together again tommorrow!!!!!!!

this post is alot different looking than the last post.. a big difference in the weather... 82 degrees here ......today was beautiful... and a great day to be off and to take the boat out for a great day of fishing. we headed out this morning after breakfast. after getting the boat in the water, and finding a good spot to fish, chris caught one quickly. he was very proud.... i caught a 2-3 pound catfish, and a smaller one. he caught 1 catfish and 1 bream. the wind started to pick up, so we only got to fish for about 4 hours. we stopped for lunch/supper at one of our favorite places right on the water. we both had fish!!!! we enjoyed the food and the weather on the patio .after our meal, we headed back home to get ready for church. we had a great day spending it together...

this was such a beautiful snow.... i am so glad it did snow . chris and i have been without power since sunday night. we have been staying at my parent's home. it has been fun. drake has been out of school and we have played games and such... my mother has been spoiling us with breakfast and we did have country ham and eggs on monday. yesterday, we felt like we were getting a little ''cabin fever'', so we went over to my sister's house and hungout for a little bit, into town to the grocery store, and for lunch at chick-fil-a... also we had to do a few other things. my sister, angie, and ben went with us..we have had a lot of fun!!!!
