Bye Bye Summer

I really do love summer time.. I love the warm weather, pool days, watermelon, fresh veggies from the garden... ALL of these things are so great, but my FAVORITE time of the year starts September 23rd....... THE FIRST DAY OF FALL.. 22 MORE DAYS AWAY.
I love the crisp air, the smells of fall, yummy soups and warm comfort food, the beautiful changing of the leaves, and of course, it is the time for our ANNUAL ANNIVERSARY TRIP... so looking forward to it this year!!!!!
We recently was blessed to spend some family time, going to the water park, and camping with some of our family. We were also blessed with a free trip to the race in Bristol. This included tickets to the race,and a hospitality pack from Auto Zone. We got to meet Joey Lagano, and got to see some beautiful things. The race was awesome too..

some good news to share

NOW HOW ABOUT SOME GOOD NEWS FOR A CHANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do not usually watch the news that much, but I do catch the headlines before the main thing comes on I care to see... the weather... but I am kind of sad about all the stuff that has been happening here lately.... but that only means one thing.. and that is that JESUS IS COMING SOON!!

Everything in the news lately has been about hatred, violence, wrong doings, and wrong RULINGS.. but JESUS IS STILL KING !!! AMEN!!
I just want to share some good news from our family.. over the past month we have had our nephew come home from Cali and get married, a cousin , who we have prayed for a long time, accept Jesus into his life, and also we had a fabulous time on our annual family BEACH vacay.. also, we snuck in a little weekend getaway camping trip...so, I am happy to share this good news..also, I went to the doctor for a checkup, and my labs were okay, only one thing is still not like my doctor wants, but I am still working on improving that with diet, exercise, and a little white pill.. so I think when I go back in a month, it will be even better.. praise the Lord!!

Spring into CAMPING

SPRING IS HERE.. YES, IT IS., IN FULL FORCE!!


TIME TO  spring into camping!!!

the trees are so beautiful, budding out and all, and the flowers too, and the pretty, green grass, but that pollen... it is not so pretty!! it has had me tore up!!, and that devilish purple stuff from the trees hanging..... wisteria... wisteria... it just sounds bad.. it does not like me at all.. but that;s ok.. the feeling is MUTUAL!!!!!!

i have been to the doctor twice in the past week. i have a double ear infection.. i have been on 2 different meds, and they are/have been making me real sick!!! I am feeling a lot better. we had our annual kick off to spring and the camping season this past weekend. we ended up at one of our favorite destinations.we love to go to this place. it is not too far away. we took the camper and the boat. it is so fun fishing with my sweetie!! he gets all excited for me when i catch fish!! and that makes me happy. we had a great time. it was a little cool it rained on thursday night, but we had so much fun, camping, fishing, and eating yummy food, reading, hanging some new organizing things inside the camper. we had some company on friday night. we had my niece and her fiance for a steak dinner.. we had a great time chillaxing with them and started talking about the planning of the wedding soon.. i can't wait for this wedding. it is gonna be so pretty.. it makes me so happy to know she is finally happy!!!

Help is on the WAY

I like to think I can do little things to help around the house, especially when it comes to helping the hubby out with a project, and when he says'' hold this up here, just like this''.... and I help him, and we as a team work at something until it comes out just right... Spending time together is one thing, but spending time doing something that you love to do and you work hard at doing, it is better, and better rewarding too...

We had a beautiful Saturday. It was a great day to work on stuff we needed to get done. We set aside a day when we are both off, and have no other plans, but to work on '' little projects'' here at our home.
We had a painting job that needed to our attention. We sanded down the surfaces and then repainted them They looked so dull, and drab.. Now, they are a sparkling, white, and a super tough looking black and shiny too ,I might add..... I helped hubby put new stripping around the doors of our home away from home.. It looks really nice. It is a great feeling to know you can work on something together and you feel accoplished when you are done..

I feel sometimes as if I can handle it all by myself.. everyday life in general... I can fix and solve my own problems, but the truth is, I CAN NOT... That is when I am reminded that help is on the way. HE can build and make any circumstance better, far more better than I could ever make it... God's timing is EVERYTHING, AND THE MOST IMPORTANT..

THOUGH HE FALL, HE SHALL NOT BE UTTERLY CAST DOWN, FOR THE LORD UPHOLDETH HIM WITH HIS HAND. PSALM 37:24

Spring Fun HAS begun !!

 

good murnin..lol.. HAPPY SPRING EVERYONE!!!! hope you have been enjoying these warmer temps. i am so happy to see them. we had a fun week  in Charleston, SC last week. We went for our annual ''kick off to camping season'' trip. It was a fun time  of camping on James Island!! We had a ball. We got to see some new places and things in Chuck town we have never got to see before.

we went to the Fire Museam in Charleston. It was a really cool place filled with hubby's favorite fire trucks, and memorabilla. It had all kinds of pumpers, engines, and even a hand pumper..it was cool. i was a little dissapointed that they did not have a lot of stuff about Chaleston Fire Dept. nor did they have any Memorial to the CHARLESTON 9... but it still was a fun thing to see.

mmmmmm. bacon... love the smell of this on a morning waking up to the sound of owls hooohootin, and sweet little birds singing, ''sweet,tweet..'' it was beautiful..

one day, it was rather warm, so we headed to the beach.. when we got there, it became sooo windy.. but we had a great relaxing time people watching and listening to the waves crash..... and getting our toes in the sand!!

the weather was perfect. Still a little cool, but not cold...but the  dreaded word...POLLEN was in full force...and nearly got the best of me.. but i survived. we met up with my best friend on wednesday. we had a great time seeing them and the kids.. they are so grown!!! we had fun the next night celebrating Shane's birthday!! We went to Outback because he wanted steak...yummmm...We took our bikes, and rode, and rode, and rode..you get the picture... they have all kinds of trails for bike riding!!! we had a great time. on friday, i went with my ladies of faith, to the women of honor conference. we had a ball, and LOL ALL WEEKEND!! and it was so much fun to be with my buddies, and i really needed the fellowship, and the meeting was such a blessing!!!

happy birthday sis!!

 we celebrated my sister's birthday, and the ''start of fall'' with a family campout last weekend. we had a great meal of yummy burgers, dawgs, baked beans, and all the trimmings, along with homemade carrot cake for her birthday cake. we had such  fun around the campfire roasting marshmellows, and talking and laughing.. just being together..
on saturday, those who did not stay over came back for a delicious breakfast. we had a blast riding the paddleboats, and exploring around the campground!! it was what my sis wanted to do for her birthday..so, that's what she got!!

 she even got candles...lighting the way to her JUG!!
