Show ME some SMILES!!

Why smile???? HMMMM. let's see... Because you woke up this morning, you can walk, talk, and obviously read this!!! You are breathing!! If you are a Christian, your Heavenly Father is with you EVERY STEP of the way.. That's ENOUGH!!! SMILES:))) are contagious!!! If OTHERS see you smile, they will want what you got  and wonder why YOU ARE SMILING??!!!!!! 

If you DIVIDE one smile:) between two people, you SUBTRACT tension, and ADD some joy!!! Usually the ORIGINAL :) SMILE  has been MULTIPLIED several times.

we can smile, knowing the LORD IS ON OUR SIDE!! HE'S ''GOT THIS''..!!!! amen!!

We can always find reasons to smile. We often do NOT FEEL LIKE IT!! but, when you start to think of how bad it could be,but it is not, we can smile!! Sometimes, we grow weary, tired, depressed.. when these things happen in our lives, or in my OWN life, I start to count MY blessings... SMILES RETURN INSTANTLY!!!! Start thinking about things that are dear to your heart, things that make YOU happy.. a large ''gut laugh'' from your  kids, a wonderful family outing you have recently had, a time in your childhood, that was your most favorite.. ALL THESE THINGS ARE INSTANT SMILE:)))) STARTERS!!!!

one of the best reasons to smile, is knowing JESUS as your LORD AND SAVIOR!!!

HAHAHA!!! and after all of this... it makes me want to sing a song I have heard from my childhood, and still hear it today.. it  is like this.....

SMILE A WHILE, AND GIVE YOUR FACE A REST, LIFT YOUR HANDS, TO THE ONE YOU LOVE THE BEST, THEN SHAKE HANDS WITH THOSE NEARBY, AND GIVE TO THEM, A SMILE!!!!   :))))))))))

wanna-be CASTAWAY?

Looking out over the ocean this morning, i am amazed at the hand of the Lord. How??? HE could create this universe in a short 6 days, is beyond my comprehension. The ocean, how it comes in and out, time after time, amazes me.. How every wave is different, How there is just tons AND  tons of water..How it can be sooo calm, but rough the next day or even hour amazes me!!! How many grains of sand on the shore.. How EVERYTHING SEEMS SO PEACEFUL, TRANQUIL.... the Lord CREATED THIS ALL!!!  I often wander what it would be like to be on a deserted island..ALL BY YOURSELF.. you would be a castaway.. NO ONE WOULD KNOW WHERE YOU WERE. some would think this would be great.. you would be away from IT ALL!!! i kind of think i would like it.. It makes you  think.. what items would/ could you bring?? what would you do for food?? i mean, coconuts, and mangos ,and bananas might would get old after a while!!!! your survival skills definately would be put into play.you would need food, shelter, warmth..etc.. In looking at this, I am glad we are not CASTAWAYS with Jesus.. Although, we can be out of the WILL of God, He never cast us away, He still loves us, in spite of it all.

Psalm 9:10 KJV And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, has not forsaken the that seek thee.

Another thing to ponder is, if no one was there with you, you would still have to survive.. with God's help, He would be there to help handle any situation.. He WOULD send the rain, the food, shelter, warmth.. for survival, according to HIS will.

disguised blessings

When troubles come , and things go wrong, AND days are cheerless, and nights are LONG, We find it so easy to give into despair, By magnifying the burdens we bear. sometimes we have disguised blessings in our lives. it may be something that you have done, not really wanting too.. but  you did anyway. it could be out of your own service to your church, or family. it could just be a time spent with your family member, not knowing it was YOUR LAST!!! it could be a simple word spoken to another person, and in return, a friendship was BORN. it could be a ''thinking of you'' card when someone is at their lowest... it  has many faces, but disguised blessings in my book, are things that could or would be done , not knowing what would happen in return, and not EXPECTING anything back.I have witnessed several ''DISGUISED BLESSINGS'' in my own life, just over the past few weeks. Some of these , I hope to share in the future. God sends the rain, but also HE makes every Rainbow, perfect. Not ALL rainbows look the same, but are colored just right. this kind of makes me think of the ''disguised blessings'' HE gives us. They are always in His perfect timing, and designed to BLESS us when we don't want to even LOOK for the rainbow. i want to see all the colors in the rainbow, and be strengthened , and let HIS disguised blessings be revealed to me in HIS time...

 loved this!!! wonder why???

i just returned from a trip with my mother. we, along with some seniors from my church, and a few other friends , went to Natural Bridge ,Va. we had a fun, action packed three days, but it was a nice, adventerous trip. we went to a wonderful butterfly pavillion, a nice wax museum, one of my favorite places, a safari park, and a cute, quaint TOY museum.. and visited a nearby town for a nice toured carriage ride!!   we were always on the go, but i had a fun time with my mother!!!! We also went to the Dday memorial.. this was a true sight to see, and one that made me proud to be an AMERICAN!! We were very tired when we got home, but i enjoyed it sosoo much, because i had never been there!! i enjoyed the weekend , and spending some time with a great buddy too.. love her. and her mom.. and i LOVE MY MOMMY TOO.. thank you mama for asking me to go! i will cherish our QUALITY TIME TOGETHER!! memories, laughs , and fun times forever!!!!!!!

Being Contented

are you in perfect content? are you happy with your life , plain and simple?? sometimes, i think of things to blog about, some of which are about my everyday life. they are the things i do everyday, the things i did over the weekend, or family celebrations, places i traveled to.. ALL these make me content, mainly, because they are the main things i like to do. and i am content doing them. i have found recently, that when doing my devotions, i have journaled my thoughts along with them.. and some of them, i decide to share on here, mainly because they have been such a HUGE blessing to me, that i wish to share with others.. THIS is something i feel the LORD wants me to do, therefore, it makes me VERY CONTENTED.
i am very contented at the moment, sitting here blogging, and eating my livermush/egg sandwich with duke's mayo, and drinking my sundrop...hehe....ahhhh, it's the simple things....:))))

thinking of blessings so far this week that have made me contented are: safe travel to and from, fresh fruit, LORD sending us some much needed rain, my garden growing pretty,wonderful  Sunday services, with a lady saved.. happy patients getting to go home:)), and wonderful Sunday lunch with my whole family ,and a new fella(LOVE YA KEVIN)  ,AND a sweet young soldier (RIDGE) ,gathered round the table, sharing jokes, funny stories..etc..the list could go on and on, but these are just a few of my blessings this week.
God wants us to be happy...  1 Timothy 6:8KJV  And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
we choose to be content. it is NOT determined by worldly things. THIS is a BIG one. some people look for worldly pleasures to make them content. examples include: new car, house, NAME-BRAND STUFF, or trying to ''keep up with the jones''... just in competition. ONLY JESUS can satisfy. HE can make you the most happy.

Hebrews 13:5 KJV Let your conversation be without covetousness: and be ye content with such things as ye have; for he hath said,''I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.''

this verse alone is enough.... HE will be there always and will never forsake.My God will always be enough. when others see you in content, they will wonder why you are, and will want it too.i feel that we always need to be contented with what the Lord gives us. it may not be what we want at the time, but it always in HIS time.remember, HE CHOSE to give it to you. this is a BIG one too..:)) a personal relationship with God is true perfect contentment..  Doing the Lord's Will for your life will make you most contented. Living day by day, and trusting Him, THAT'S PERFECT CONTENTMENT. THIS is a true , contented life.
