great relaxing saturday

saturday. we had a nice, fun, and relaxing day in our backyard...we slept in, and then went for a brunch, and then came home to swim, and bask in the heat...haha.. we enjoyed our time ..

we went for supper at a new restaurant. they had great bbq,corn, and wonderful ribs!!!! we had a great day and it was wonderful knowing that we did not have anywhere to go or be at a certain time!!!!!

we went to the blue ridge bbq and music festival yesterday.. it turned out to be a very fun, but HOT day...we enjoyed some good food, including some good homemade peach ice cream, and cherry limeade...yum.. enjoy our pics!!!!!!!

yes, it is time to fire up that grill. we love to grill out.. last night, we had these wonderful kielbasas with grilled onions and peppers.. yumm!!!! we had a great time just relaxing and chillin out...

we had niki and shannon's wedding saturday. niki is chris' sister!! it turned out to be a beautiful wedding.. i want to praise the Lord i was able to be at the wedding. i was originally scheduled to work.. they called me off saturday:)) so, i know it was the Lord's will for me to be there. i took several pictures.. i am posting some of them..sit back, grab a snack, and enjoy!!!!!! we are very happy for them..congrats niki and shannon!!!!!

today, i found my thrill on ''strawberry hill''...lol.. we have been wanting to go get strawberries for a few weeks now, but we have had so much going on.. we have not had time, so, today, my mother and i took a ''field trip'' to a nearby strawberry patch. we had breakfast.. a very good breakfast!!! and then we went to the shed for strawberries.. they looked so good.. i can't wait to eat them!!!!! we had such a great time, and look forward to going again!!

saturday night , we went out for my mom's birthday!!!! we went to a fish camp and it was really good.. it looked like a pancake house or something like that... anyway, it was good family time and much needed... they had a good salad bar too...
